S. Pimental has been painting whimsical watercolor and folk-art illustration since 1999: storybook cottages with climbing roses, coastal scenes with sailboats and starfish, gentle mermaids, and the primitive Americana of cows, crows, and sunflowers.
The work is hand-painted in soft watercolor washes and pen-and-ink line, in the spirit of a well-loved children's book. The collections share one hand and one palette, so pieces merchandise naturally together across themes and seasons.
